Substituting Scrum Terminology for Prison Lingo

Posted on Tuesday 16 October 2007

Neil (hirsute MD and Producer-Type here at Splash Damage) was just relating how difficult it is getting brits to get their sarcastic heads around the very US-centric terminology used in Scrum without chortling or making sly comments.

I suggested localising it and switching words for something palletable to british tongues - prison talk! In the Splash Damage version of scrum, pigs would be bitches, chickens would be screws, which makes the scrum master The Daddy.

Hopefully this will catch on.
